The driver of the pickup truck suffered a fractured orbital and was immediately transported to a local hospital. The 38-year-old passenger in the Audi apparently suffered a fractured femur and was also reportedly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The San Diego Police are currently in charge of the investigation. We send our sincerest wishes of well-being to the two victims of this accident.
San Diego Car Accident Injury Attorney
Unlike many other cases, it seems to be clear who caused this crash. However, an investigation is still absolutely necessary in order to conclusively determine who was at fault. Investigators must also know exactly why and how the accident occurred, and they will likely scrutinize over each detail pertinent to the possibility of excessive speed, intoxication, and distracted driving.
Depending on the results of the investigation, there will likely be very solid grounds for at least two personal injury lawsuits to follow. Many victims tend to seek compensation for their injuries due to the terribly high costs that typically follow a sudden injury. Hospital expenses, future medical bills, lost wages, and property damage are all reasons why many people look to file a claim after an accident. Nevertheless, this is a personal decision that can only be made by the victim.
