San Diego, CA – Child Pedestrian Accident on Newport Avenue
San Diego, CA (December 18, 2018) On the evening of December 17th, a child pedestrian accident happened in the 4700 block of Newport Avenue. According to the reports, a vehicle struck a 7-year-old child at 6:30 p.m. at Ebers Street. The child and his family were looking at Christmas lights when the child stepped in the street and got hit. When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found that the child suffered from a broken leg and transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver responsible stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. The accident is currently under investigation.
