San Diego, CA – Elderly Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Malborough Ave

San Diego, CA (June 4, 2019) On the morning of June 4^th, a hit-and-run crash happened at the intersection of Marlborough Avenue and University Avenue. An elderly man was crossing the street using his walker when a vehicle hit him. Sadly, the driver kept driving without stopping to check on the man. The accident happened at around 5:00 a.m.

When the ambulance arrived to help, they found the man injured at the intersection and immediately rushed him to the closest hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his injuries were non-life threatening.

The San Diego Police Department is currently searching for the driver responsible. So far, the suspected vehicle has been described as a 1990’s Dodge Dakota with frontal damage.
