San Diego, CA – Man Hospitalized After Major Crash on Carroll Canyon Road

San Diego, CA (January 27, 2019) – In San Diego, a major crash took place on Carroll Canyon Road that led to fatal injuries in one person. The accident took place on Friday around 3:40 p.m.

Police arrived at the scene of the accident in the 10100 block of Carroll Canyon Road. There, they found that a 38-year-old man had been driving a Honda out of a business parking lot when he went across all lanes of traffic and was struck by a Nissan being driven by a 34-year-old woman. Neither parties have yet been identified.

The man sustained serious injuries and was quickly taken to the hospital. The woman had pain but was not hospitalized for her injuries. At this time, the investigation into the collision continues.
