San Diego, CA. Woman Arrested Following 2 Collisions in Mission Valley East
San Diego, CA. (July 2, 2018) – The San Diego police reported the arrest of a 56-year-old woman after she apparently crashed into two separate vehicles within moments of one another Sunday afternoon. The woman reportedly caused two separate crashes within the 2700 block of Camino Del Rio South. The two separate accidents were reported at approximately 4:41 p.m. in Mission Valley East.
The female suspect was reportedly driving at a fairly high rate of speed when she first crashed into the back of another motorist who was traveling east on Camino Del Rio South. The suspect apparently exited her vehicle to shout at the 21-year-old female driver who she crashed into before getting back into her car and driving away.
Within moments, the suspect then proceeded to crash head-on into another vehicle that was heading west on Camino Del Rio South. The second victim had to be transported to a nearby hospital for at least minor injuries, and the suspect was arrested for hit-and-run as well as other criminal charges.
The woman who was arrested will likely be held liable for both collisions. We simply wish to offer the victim of this accident our sincerest sympathies during this trying time.
