San Dimas, CA- Three Vehicle Crash Kills One on 57 Fwy Near Covina Blvd
San Dimas, CA (June 21, 2019)- A truck accident left one dead at the Covina Boulevard off-ramp on the 57 Freeway southbound Wednesday at approximately 9:56 pm.
A semi-truck was among three vehicles involved in the crash, which resulted in a vehicle fire. Firefighters were called to the scene of the crash to extinguish the fire while emergency medical personnel responded to aid injured victims.
According to reports, one person passed away due to the crash. Their identification has not been released pending family notification.
Due to the accident, a Sig Alert was made and the first through third freeway lanes were closed so that the investigation could commence and damaged vehicles removed.
The California Highway Patrol is continuing the investigation into the crash.
