San Francisco, CA – 64-Year-Old Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Palmetto Avenue

San Francisco, CA (January 15, 2019) On the morning of January 14^th, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened in the Ingleside Heights neighborhood at approximately 5:39 a.m. According to the reports, a 64-year-old woman was crossing the street when a black Mazda struck her on Palmetto Avenue.

Instead of tending to the injured woman, the driver proceeded to drive off without stopping. When emergency crews arrived to help, they found the woman suffering from non-life-threatening injuries and took her to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The accident is currently under investigation.
