San Francisco, CA – Hit-and-Run Reported at Highway 101 and 80 Freeway
San Francisco, CA (August 18, 2018) – A motorist sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash Friday in San Francisco. The accident took place at Highway 101 and the 80 Freeway. Just after 7:00 pm, a red, white and blue BMW was traveling southbound on the highway. The BMW, for unknown reasons, collided with a silver vehicle, also in the southbound lanes.
According to California Highway Patrol reports, the BMW then left the scene of the crash. The driver of the other vehicle was ejected and thrown into the number three lane of the freeway. The driver is being treated for unspecified injuries.
CHP officials are still in the process of trying to locate the BMW driver. The crash remains under further investigation and no additional information is available at this time.
