Pedestrian Accidents in California
Unfortunately, most pedestrian accidents could be avoided since they’re usually caused by negligence, which includes distracted and reckless driving. When drivers are distracted by their cell phones or by other passengers in their vehicle, it’s easy for them not to see a pedestrian and accidentally strike them. When drivers are speeding, violating traffic laws, falling asleep at the wheel, or driving under the influence, it’s easy for them to hit pedestrians, possibly causing serious injuries or death.
The police are currently investigating to determine what led up to this devastating accident and whether the driver will be held fully responsible. Once they finish their reports, Ng’s family may be able to file a wrongful death lawsuit with the help of a California wrongful death attorney.
