San Francisco, CA – One Injured in Five-Vehicle Accident on Highway 101
San Francisco, CA (February 28, 2019) – On the morning of February 28th, a five-car crash happened on Highway 101, just south of Cesar Chavez Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, five vehicles collided at 12:05 a.m.
When the paramedics arrived, they found one driver suffering from a laceration to the face and transported the injured victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. Crews called two tow trucks to remove the damaged vehicles and the highway remained shut down until about 2:20 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating this accident to determine what led all five vehicles to collide.
