San Francisco, CA – One Motorcyclist Injured During Car Accident on I-80 Freeway at Fremont Street

San Francisco, CA (July 12, 2018) – A motorcyclist was reportedly injured on Thursday morning following an accident that involved another vehicle on the I-80 Freeway, according to a report released by the California Highway Patrol. The accident apparently took place at around 8:42 a.m. this morning in the westbound lanes of the freeway.

The report stated that a motorcycle and a Chevrolet Impala were the only two vehicles that were involved. The motorcyclist reportedly collided with the Impala and the rider was noted as being down in the middle lanes of the freeway following the collision. Various bystanders who were present at the time of the incident carried the injured rider off the roadway and out of the way of other motorists.

The bystanders who helped the victim also called the paramedics who arrived promptly to provide professional assistance. The unnamed 35-year-old male victim was reportedly having problems breathing and required serious medical attention.
