San Francisco, CA – Pedestrian Accident with Critical Injuries on 37th Avenue

San Francisco, CA (April 4, 2019) – Police responded to a pedestrian accident with critical injuries that took place at the intersection of 37^th Avenue and Fulton Street on Tuesday. The pedestrian has since been identified as a 91-year-old.

The accident took place near the Golden Gate Park around 9 p.m. A 91-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a white Chevy. The accident took place in the Richmond District neighborhood.

When paramedics responded to the scene, they found the elderly victim lying in the roadway with injuries that were considered to be life-threatening.

Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene to cooperate with police after striking the pedestrian. The investigation into the accident continues.
