San Francisco, CA- Pedestrian Fatally Injured In Crash At Divisadero St. & Sutter St.

San Francisco, CA (May 3, 2019)- An elderly pedestrian sustained fatal injuries after being hit by a vehicle at Divisadero Street and Sutter Street in San Francisco on Wednesday.

The crash happened close to UCSF Mount Zion Medical Center at around 8:45 am when a 32-year-old male driver in a Toyota dealership truck hit 77-year-old pedestrian Galina Alterman as the driver began to turn at the intersection.

The driver was uninjured in the crash. He remained at the crash site and cooperated with officials.

The injured pedestrian was brought to a local hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.

The crash is under investigation.
