Pedestrian Accidents in California
The reason why almost 700,000 hit-and-run accidents occur every year in the United States is because drivers are afraid to face the consequences of their actions. Most of the time drivers commit civil wrongs by texting, driving while impaired, falling asleep at the wheel, speeding, or just not paying attention. Other times drivers have warrants out for their arrests, are in stolen vehicles, have no auto-insurance or vehicle registration.
Once the police find the driver responsible for this accident, Collins’ family could file a wrongful death lawsuit with the help of a California wrongful death attorney.
