San Francisco, CA – Ying Kuang Loses His Life After Being Struck by a Semi-Truck
San Francisco, California (November 6, 2018) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday afternoon in San Francisco’s North Beach. The pedestrian has been identified as 86-year-old Ying Kuang, of San Francisco. The accident happened in the area of Powell St and Vallejo St on Monday, November 5th.
Kuang had been reportedly walking in the area of Powell St and Vallejo St when he was suddenly struck by a big rig truck. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene a short time later and performed CPR in an attempt to revive the pedestrian. Sadly, Kuang did not survive the injuries he sustained in the incident and passed away at the scene. Details on the circumstances leading up to the crash have yet to be released by authorities. According to first responders, the 49-year-old man driving the truck remained at the scene and complied with authorities.
This tragic accident is still under investigation.
