Truck Safety in California
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has rules stating that big rigs must undergo pre-trip inspections before getting on the highway. To assure safety for everyone on the road, these large vehicles must be inspected and maintained in order to prevent truck accidents. Pre-trip inspections require checking the tire inflation, fluid levels, brake function, and many other elements.
No matter how thorough a pre-inspection is, it cannot prevent human error while on the road. If you have been injured or lost a loved one in a big rig crash– as a victim in the smaller vehicle or as the driver of a big rig– you need the support of an experienced attorney who is familiar with cases involving large trucks.
