San Jose, CA – Fatal Traffic Accident on Highway 87

San Jose, CA (January 7, 2019) On the 5^th of January, a fatal traffic crash happened on Highway 87 near the Taylor Street off-ramp. According to the reports, an SUV that was traveling north on Hwy 87 when he exited the highway on an off-ramp.  As he exited he noticed that traffic had come to a standstill.  To avoid crashing into any vehicles, he swerved and ended up hitting a sound wall at the interchange. When emergency crews arrived, they found four or five occupants in the SUV, one of which suffered fatal injuries. Another passenger suffered critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. This accident is currently under investigation.

We are sorry to hear that someone lost their life in this collision and that another is in critical condition.
