San Jose, CA – Injuries Reported after Two-Vehicle Traffic Collision on Northbound 280 Freeway near Saratoga Avenue Off-Ramp

San Jose, CA (August 31, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that victims sustained non-life threatening injuries as the result of a traffic collision involving two vehicles that transpired along the northbound lanes of the 280 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Saratoga Avenue off-ramp. The accident occurred at approximately 5:24 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.

According to the report from CHP, a silver SUV slammed into the rear end of a black Honda for indeterminate reasons along northbound 280. Sometime later, paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and rendered aid to an unspecified number of victims, who suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The current physical conditions of these individuals were not immediately disclosed.

After the crash, two trucks removed the wrecked vehicles from the freeway.

Presently, the California Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into a probable cause for the accident.
