San Jose, CA – Injuries Reported in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 at Great America Parkway

San Jose, CA – (November 30, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle accident that injured at least one person Saturday evening on Highway 101 in San Jose. The accident was reported just before 7:50 pm on November 24th, on Highway 101 at the Great America Parkway on-ramp.

Per the initial report, a motorcyclist and a black BMW X5 were traveling on Highway 101 approaching the Great America Parkway on-ramp when for unknown reasons they violently crashed into one another. Emergency crews immediately rushed to the crash site and rendered aid to the victim before transporting the rider to a local hospital for emergency treatment. According to the report, the extent of the injuries sustained in the crash was not immediately established. The number of victims and their current condition is also unknown.

The California Highway Patrol has assumed authority over this investigation. Once more evidence comes to the surface, more information will be released to public sources.
