San Jose, CA (February 15, 2019) – Early Sunday morning, around 6:00 a.m., a woman was fatally struck by a vehicle while she was seeking help after a crash at an interchange of Highway 101.
At the time, the victim and her husband were driving from southbound Highway 101 to northbound 680 Freeway when they were suddenly involved in a minor accident. All lanes of traffic connecting to Highway 101 were closed for several hours and reopened around 9:08 a.m., three hours after the incident.
The crash is still being investigated at this time.
We understand how difficult it can be to lose a loved one and would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the woman whose life was taken too soon in this horrific accident.
