San Luis Obispo, CA. 2-Vehicle Accident at Orcutt and Righetti Roads Leaves 1 Person Hospitalized
San Luis Obispo, CA. (July 5, 2018) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, at least one person had to be hospitalized following a collision on Thursday morning. The accident that involved two vehicles reportedly took place at approximately 11:57 a.m. at the intersection of Orcutt and Righetti Roads.
The two vehicles involved were a gray Mazda sedan and a silver Toyota Corolla. Both of the vehicles ended up blocking the southbound lanes of the highway following the accident. Paramedics were immediately called to the scene after the collision to assist anyone who may have been hurt. One person was reportedly transported to French Hospital by ambulance for treatment of injuries that are currently undisclosed. A tow truck was called to haul at least one vehicle away from the scene.
Neither the name nor the condition of the victim has been made available at this time. There were no more details reported regarding the events that led to this crash or who may have been at fault. A thoroughly detailed investigation is currently being conducted in order to determine liability.
