San Luis Obispo, CA. Radio Host Dave Congalton Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash
San Luis Obispo, CA. (July 1, 2018) – A local and reliable news source reported that Dave Congalton, a KVEC radio host, was apparently struck and seriously injured by a vehicle in San Luis Obispo Saturday morning. Congalton hosts the show, “Hometown Radio with Dave Congalton,” and he was reportedly walking to the “Families Belong Together March” when he was apparently struck by a vehicle.
Emergency responders were immediately on the scene to assist Congalton following the accident. Congalton reportedly suffered very serious injuries to his leg and his head as a result of the crash. The victim had to be immediately transported to Sierra Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
According to reports, Congalton was scheduled to have surgery on Sunday. No other information regarding Congalton’s injuries or the events that led to this accident were made available. An investigation into this incident is currently ongoing in order to conclusively determine liability.
