San Marcos, California – Two Injured after Traffic Accident at Deer Springs Road and Sarver Lane

San Marcos, California (July 2, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that two people sustained injuries after a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of Deer Springs Road and Sarver Lane in the San Marcos area. The incident took place sometime in the morning on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the victims involved in the crash at this time.

As per the CHP report, a red Honda Civic and a Toyota Prius were traveling towards the intersection of Deer Springs and Sarver when, for indeterminate reasons, they crashed together. Law enforcement has speculated this may have been a head-on collision. As a result of the crash, both vehicles blocked the intersection.

First responders reported that two individuals sustained non-life threatening injuries. Personnel confirmed these victims refused treatment. CHP did not reveal if there were any other victims involved in the accident.
