San Martin, Santa Clara County, CA – Toddler Dies after Fatal Collision inside Carport

San Martin, Santa Clara County, CA (July 16, 2018) – Local news sources reported that a fatal collision involving a toddler took place inside a carport in Santa Clara County. The incident occurred around 5:30 PM in the late afternoon on Friday, July 13, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any details concerning the identities of the 18-month old toddler, the 80-year old motorist, or any more people involved in the crash at this time.

Based on the reports, the boy had wandered across the carport and, without warning, a blue Honda Accord plowed into him. Officials confirmed paramedics attempted to save the boy at the crash site, but he died before they could take him to a nearby hospital.
