San Rafael, CA – Multiple Vehicles Involved in a Traffic Crash on Westbound 580 Freeway at Richmond-San Rafael Bridge
San Rafael, California (July 11, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a collision involving multiple vehicles took place on the westbound lanes of the 580 Freeway at the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. The incident occurred at approximately 9:41 AM in the morning on Monday, July 9, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash at this time.
According to the report, a silver Toyota Prius, a black Mercedes-Benz, and a third unidentified vehicle were traveling down westbound 580 and collided for indeterminate reasons. Afterward, paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and administered treatment to a victim who proclaimed to be suffering from chest pain. In the end, paramedics confirmed this individual sustained non-life threatening injuries.
