Sanger, CA – Big Rig Collision Cause Major Injuries at Jensen Ave and McCall Ave

Sanger, CA (November 3, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major injury collision that occurred early Saturday morning at an intersection in Sanger. The accident transpired at approximately 2:24 am at the intersection of Jensen Avenue and McCall Avenue.

Officials confirmed a black Volkswagen Jetta and a semi-truck were approaching an intersection between Jensen Avenue at McCall Avenue when the two vehicles collided for reasons that are still being investigated. Reportedly, one of the vehicles ran a red light prior to the initial impact. An ambulance was dispatched to the crash site to transport at least one victim to a local hospital for evaluation and additional treatment of major injuries. Towing services were required to clear the scene of the vehicle wreckage. Police are working to determine the events that occurred prior to the collision.
