Santa Ana, CA. Hit-and-Run Accident Injures Pedestrian on West First Street and Bristol Street
Santa Ana, CA. (June 29, 2018) – Two hit-and-run motorists reportedly struck a male pedestrian in the 1300 block of West First Street, west of Bristol Street. According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the accident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning, resulting in serious injuries suffered by the victim.
Reports state that the man was apparently attempting to cross the street when he was hit by one vehicle and then struck again by another. Both of the drivers who struck the man reportedly fled the scene as opposed to stopping and helping the injured pedestrian. Paramedics arrived on the scene quickly to provide aid to the victim, and they transported the man to a nearby hospital where he is currently expected to survive.
At this time, there is no further information available on this accident, and the police are looking for the suspects.
