Santa Barbara, CA – 77-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck And Killed at Senior Living Facility
Santa Barbara, CA (March 3, 2019) – A driver that was backing up in a box struck an elderly man on Saturday morning, March 2nd.
The driver was backing up at the Casa Dorinda Life Care Community at about 10:25 a.m. when he hit the 77-year-old man who was walking in the roadway behind the truck. Both men were residents of Santa Barbara.
The man who was hit passed from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
This accident is under review. The victim’s name will not be released until his next of kin are notified.
