Motorcycle Accidents in California
Recent studies show that motorcyclists are more likely to get injured or killed after being involved in vehicle accidents. In the state of California, out of 100,000 registered motorcyclists, 72% of them end up suffering fatal injuries after colliding with another vehicle. They have an overall higher fatality rate than those driving passenger vehicles. The reason riders are more likely to get hurt is that their bodies are exposed to the impact of vehicles that weigh thousands of pounds. Because most do not wear protective clothing, their limbs are highly susceptible to injuries.
At Brady Law Group, we have helped countless motorcyclists who have been injured in vehicle accidents caused by other negligent drivers. We know that some drivers don’t pay attention to their surroundings, which puts riders in danger of being seriously injured or worse.
