Santa Clara, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Accident on Highway 101

Santa Clara, CA (July 21, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a collision on Highway 101, in the vicinity of the Montague Expressway off-ramp that resulted in the injury of a motorcyclist on Friday evening. The injurious accident that occurred south of Great American Parkway was initially reported a little after 6:00 p.m.

As per the report, the motorcyclist who was riding a yellow bike collided with a black Honda CR-V in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 in Santa Clara. Paramedics along with officials from the fire department reportedly arrived on the scene in order to assist the injured party. The motorcyclist was reportedly suffering from undisclosed injuries, and it was not made clear whether or not the victim was transported to a hospital or treated at the scene.

Neither the name nor the specific condition of the injured party has been released at this time. There was no more information made available in regards to the events that led to this incident. Authorities are presently leading a full investigation into all aspects of the crash.
