Santa Clara, CA- Two Injured in Crash on Scott Blvd Close to Jay St

Santa Clara, CA (May 10, 2019)- Police reported an accident on Scott Boulevard near Jay Street at approximately 11 am on Wednesday that caused major injuries for two victims.

Few details about the crash are available at this time. An initial investigation into its cause and clean-up of accident debris required the closure of Scott Boulevard from San Tomas Expressway to Space Park Drive that lasted until 4 pm.

The condition of the injured victims is currently unknown, but officials are in touch with the local hospital on their status.

In addition to the two people who sustained major injuries, officials believe that the accident may have involved a third person.
