Santa Maria, CA – Driver Killed In Car Crash Identified As Judith Ann Zimmer, 83

Santa Maria, CA (April 6, 2019) – The Santa Maria Police Department has released the name of the driver who passed away as a result of a crash that occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Thursday.

83-year-old Judith Ann Zimmer was killed in the accident. Zimmer was traveling in a tan-colored 2000 Acura sedan headed northbound on California Blvd. She was then hit by an Apex Auto Glass pickup that was driving eastbound on Union Valley Parkway. The two passengers in the pickup were unhurt.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
