Pedestrian Accidents in California
Unfortunately, pedestrians are at high risk of being hit every day in California, despite the California laws that were designed to protect them. One of the laws states that all vehicles must yield as they approach pedestrians, even if pedestrians are outside of a marked crosswalk or in the middle of the road. Because pedestrians don’t wear bodily protection to shield themselves from the impact of vehicles, all drivers must drive responsibly and always be aware of their surroundings.
The police are conducting a thorough investigation of this accident to determine why the vehicle struck the pedestrian. Once they finalize their reports, the pedestrian may be able to file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of a California personal injury attorney.
At Brady Law Group, we understand that whenever pedestrians are struck by vehicles they must consider the possibility of a lengthy recovery, which could cost them thousands of dollars depending on the required treatment. We work hard to ensure our clients are fully compensated for any damages and losses. If you or someone you know was injured in a pedestrian accident, 866-478-6483 for a free consultation.
