Santa Maria, CA – Three Injured in Head-On Crash on Hwy 101 Near Betteravia Road
Santa Maria, CA (March 23, 2019) – A head-on vehicle collision involving a wrong-way driver took place on March 21st, at 10:45 a.m., and caused injuries to three people.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred on southbound Highway 101 near Betteravia Road.
The head-on vehicle crash resulted in a temporary lane closure Thursday morning.
The wrong-way driver was traveling down the middle lane of the freeway when the crash occurred. One of the two vehicles involved rolled over from the aftermath of the accident.
Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers. The injured parties were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment and further evaluation.
