Santa Paula, CA – Driver Flees Hit-and-Run Automobile Accident

One Injured in Hit-and-Run Automobile Accident

Santa Paula, CA (December 5, 2018) On the morning of December 4^th, a hit-and-run automobile accident happened along Balcon Canyon Road, just south of South Mountain Road. At around 8:45 a.m., a pickup truck was headed north on Balcom Canyon Road when it swerved into the southbound lanes and sideswiped a vehicle. The pickup truck then proceeded to crash head-on into an SUV. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the driver in the SUV suffering injuries and transported the victim to a local hospital. The driver in the vehicle that got sideswiped suffered no injuries. Unfortunately, the pickup truck driver left the scene on foot after crashing into the SUV. The police are currently investigating the accident and searching for the driver responsible.
