Santa Rosa, CA – 3 Injured in Two-Car Collision on CA-12

Santa Rosa, CA (May 21, 2019) On the morning of May 20^th, a two-car collision happened on Highway 12 at approximately 9:02 a.m. A 54-year-old woman named Charlana Brown was driving a Toyota Camry when she suddenly lost control of her vehicle and veered into the opposite lane. Upon doing so, the back of end of her vehicle crashed into an oncoming white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

When emergency crews got to the accident, they found Brown suffering from major injuries. The driver of the pickup truck, 28-year-old Isidro Guzman, and his passenger, 40-year-old Ismael Hernandez-Garcia, also sustained major injuries. All three injured victims were transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Investigators are determining what led up to the dangerous crash. So far, alcohol has been ruled out as one of the possible contributing factors.
