Santa Rosa, CA –Bicyclist Injured in Accident on Fulton Road

Santa Rosa, CA (August 5, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported an accident between a bicyclist and a motor vehicle that took place Saturday afternoon on Fulton Road in Santa Rosa. The crash that resulted in injuries to the bicyclist after they were struck by the vehicle reportedly occurred at around 1:44 p.m.

The report released by the California Highway Patrol stated that the bicyclist involved had apparently collided with a black vehicle for reasons that are currently unknown. The bicycle and the driver of the black vehicle are the only two parties that are believed to have been involved in this accident.

Emergency crews were quickly called to the scene and arrived to find the bicyclist down in the roadway. Paramedics attended to the unidentified victim, although it was not immediately stated as to whether or not the cyclist had to be transported to a hospital.

The extent of the victims’ injuries is unknown at this time. There was no more information immediately available in regards to the cause of this crash. Investigators are presently examining all the evidence in order to determine liability.
