Sausalito, CA – Injuries Reported after Multi-Vehicle Collision along Northbound Highway 101 near Vista Point Off-Ramp

Sausalito, CA (July 31, 2018) – Local news sources reported that a multi-vehicle collision took place along the northbound lanes on Highway 101 in the vicinity of the Vista Point off-ramp. The incident happened at approximately 2:58 PM in the afternoon on Thursday, July 26, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the traffic accident has been revealed.

According to the initial reports, first responders discovered an overturned Subaru Crosstrek and identified a silver Toyota Prius along Lane 3 on 101. Officers also located a white four-door car, which had already been abandoned by three occupants, on the same lane. These same sources confirm the Subaru suffered damages to its exterior.

Sometime later, paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and rendered aid to an unspecified number of victims, who suffered injuries during the impact. Medical personnel only brought one person to Marin General Hospital, where the victim received treatment for a rib injury.

Later, authorities requested tow trucks to clear the wreckage from the highway.
