Seaside, CA. 1 Man Arrested After Hit-and-Run Accident on Fremont Boulevard

Seaside, CA. (June 30, 2018) – According to local news sources, two pedestrians suffered major injuries after a hit-and-run crash on Fremont Boulevard. Police stated that Carlos Lizano, 30, was reportedly driving a black Jeep Grand Cherokee in the 1000 block of Fremont Boulevard when he hit a man and a woman in a Burger King parking lot Thursday evening.

Lizano fled the scene of the accident, leaving both people with serious injuries in the parking lot. Police apparently had sufficient reason to believe that Lizano had intentionally struck the two pedestrians. Paramedics were quick to arrive on the scene in order to assist the two victims. Both pedestrians were immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. The names and conditions of the victims have not been released.

Police found Lizano in the vicinity of Del Monte and Palo Verde in Monterey. Lizano was promptly arrested on multiple felony charges which include attempted murder. He was booked into Monterey County Jail.
