Sherman Oaks, CA – One Person Injured after Three-Vehicle Traffic Accident along Northbound 405 Freeway and Highway 101 Freeway

Sherman Oaks, CA (August 31, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that one victim sustained severe injuries as the result of a traffic accident involving three vehicles along the northbound 405 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Highway 101 Freeway. Officers initially logged the incident at approximately 8:47 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2018. At this time, no detailed information about the people involved in the crash has been revealed.

Based on the report from CHP, a silver Honda Accord and two black vehicles were traveling along northbound 405 and, for indeterminate reasons, collided near 101. Sometime later, members of the Los Angeles Fire Department and paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and rendered aid to one victim, who was severely injured during the impact.

Sometime later, this individual was sent to a nearby hospital to receive more in-depth treatment. The current physical condition of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
