Solano, CA- Major Injury Truck Crash Results in Vehicle Fire on the 80 Fwy and Dixon Ave

Solano, CA (June 6, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported a truck crash on Wednesday west of Dixon Avenue in the westbound lanes of the 80 Freeway.

The crash took place at approximately 4:53 am when a vehicle and a semi-truck collided for reasons unknown. Following the crash, the vehicle caught fire.

An ambulance was called to the accident site to provide treatment to the accident victims. The current status and number of victims are not known at this time. However, at least one major injury was reported.

The crash is under investigation.
