Somis, CA – Several Injured in Car Crash on Highway 118

Somis, CA (August 2, 2018) – A collision that reportedly resulted in several injuries had apparently taken place at or in the vicinity of the intersection of Highway 118 and Aggen Road on Thursday morning in Somis, according to the California Highway Patrol. Three vehicles altogether were allegedly involved in the collision that took place at around 9:54 a.m. at the intersection.

According to authorities, the crash occurred between a white Toyota Corolla, a black Mercedes C Class, and a white Dodge Ram. Several people were reported to have suffered injuries during the collision as the Ventura County Fire Department was immediately notified of the collision. Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene in order to assist anyone who had been hurt in the crash.

Although several injuries were reported, one motorist seemed to suffer the worst of it with very serious lacerations. That victim was promptly transported to St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo via ambulance to be treated for their significant injuries. Several traffic lanes had to be closed down for a short period of time to allow the investigation to begin.

No further information has been released in regards to the cause of this crash. Likewise, neither the names nor the specific conditions of those involved have been provided at this time. The investigation into this collision is currently ongoing.
