Sonoma, CA – Malachi Hussain Killed and Juan Reynoso-Bedolla Injured in Fatal Crash on Highway 121

Sonoma, CA (January 17, 2019) On January 16^th, a fatal crash happened on Highway 121 at about 3:00 p.m. According to the reports,  25-year-old Malachi Hussain from Livermore was speeding on the highway in the rain when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the divider line and collided head-on with a 1996 Dodge pickup truck that contained 48-year-old Juan Reynoso-Bedolla and his two passengers.

When the paramedics arrived at the scene to help, they found Hussain fatally injured. They also found Reynosa-Bedolla suffering from minor injuries and transported him to Queen of the Valley Hospital for treatment. His two passengers, 30-year-old Jose Bedolla-Mendoza and 38-year-old Elias Mendoza-Bedolla did not sustain any injuries.

The police are currently investigating this accident, but so far, they believe speed and wet roads were contributing factors.
