California Pedestrian Accident Injury Attorney
California law dictates that any motorist who is knowingly responsible for an accident must stop at the scene in order to provide assistance to the victim, as well as contact and cooperate with authorities. Once found, the suspect will most likely face felony charges for leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in bodily injury.
The investigation into this crash will certainly focus on whether or not the suspected driver is located. There will absolutely be grounds for a serious personal injury lawsuit at that time. Of course, the decision to file a claim for compensation is a private one that can only be made by the victim.
