Sonoma County, CA – Two Drivers Hospitalized after Severe Two-Vehicle Collision on Lakeville Highway
Sonoma County, CA (August 9, 2018) – A local news source recently provided updated information about two drivers who required hospitalization after a severe two-vehicle head-on collision that took place along the Lakeville Highway, in the vicinity of Old Lakeville No. 3 Road. The incident transpired at approximately 7:10 AM in the morning on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. As of today, authorities identified the two drivers as 32-year old Petaluma resident Claire Wieszcyk and 31-year old Salvador Becerra-Vallejo.

The current conditions of both victims have not been immediately disclosed.
As of now, the investigation is ongoing.

As indicated in the report, Becerra-Vallejo swerved into opposing traffic before ultimately colliding with a truck and the Lexus. However, at this time, officials are unsure of what exactly caused this unfortunate incident on the Lakeville Highway.
As part of the ongoing investigation, forensic teams will inspect the Toyota and the Lexus and examine photos of the crash site to determine if mechanical issues or system failure forced the vehicles to lose control. Likewise, officials will consider if drugs, alcohol, negligence, recklessness, or distracted driving played any role in the events leading up to the accident in any way.
In the event of a traffic accident of this nature, the non-guilty injured victims may have the option of pursuing a personal injury lawsuit against the guilty party. With the assistance of a professional lawyer, these individuals can receive compensation for inconveniences ranging from medical bills to vehicle damage.
