South El Monte, CA – Woman Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Pedestrian Accident on Rosemead Boulevard

South El Monte, CA (August 5, 2018) – A hit-and-run accident that occurred on Rosemead Boulevard in South El Monte sadly claimed the life of a female pedestrian on Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The deadly accident that took place at around 5:00 a.m. reportedly transpired in the vicinity of Rush Street.

The report which was released stated that the victim was struck by a vehicle, and that vehicle apparently fled the scene without stopping. Medical personnel arrived on the scene in order to attend to any victims, however, the lone victim was pronounced dead upon their arrival. The name of the woman who was killed has not been released at this time.
