South Gate, CA – One Killed in Bicycle Accident at 710 Freeway and Imperial Highway

South Gate, CA (June 16, 2019) – A bicycle and vehicle accident occurred on June 15th at about 11:30 p.m., that took the life of one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred on Saturday night in the area of 710 Freeway and Imperial Highway.

The victim was riding a bicycle on a crosswalk at the intersection when he was hit by a car.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers.  The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, the unidentified bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene
