South Los Angeles, CA – Two Men Hospitalized After Crash Involving Cement Truck on West Washington Boulevard

South Los Angeles, CA (September 1, 2018) – According to a reliable news source in Los Angeles, two men, ages twenty-five and forty-nine had to be hospitalized after a crash involving a cement truck and a black compact sedan on Friday night, August 31. The accident which was reported to have transpired in the 200 block of West Washington Boulevard took place at around 10:10 p.m. near Grand Avenue.

Firefighters were reported to have used a crane I order to lift the cement truck off the sedan. Firefighters cut open the roof of the sedan to extricate the twenty-five-year-old man who had been trapped inside the vehicle for thirty minutes. The victims’ legs were reported to have been stuck beneath the dashboard due to the impact of the accident. The victim was conscious and immediately transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.

The forty-nine-year-old driver of the cement truck suffered a minor head injury during the collision and was also taken to a local hospital for treatment.
