Stockton, CA – Pedestrian Accident at Newton Road and Wilson Way

Stockton, CA (April 4, 2019) – One pedestrian received injuries in a pedestrian accident that took place at Newton Road and Wilson Way on Wednesday evening.

Police believe that the pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was crossing the road at the intersection when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle at 7:14 p.m. Police are not sure what caused the pedestrian to step in front of the vehicle.

Police did confirm that the driver of the vehicle involved did not stop at the scene of the crash. They logged the accident as a hit-and-run case but no other information is known at this time.
