Summerland, CA – Fatal Monday Morning Crash on Evans Avenue
Summerland, CA (March 11, 2019) – Police are investigating whether or not a medical emergency caused a man to rear-end another car during a crash on Monday, March 11th, at northbound Highway 101 and Evans Avenue.
While the accident, which was reported to police around 8:30 am, caused minor damage to the cars, the driver died at the scene. Police are investigating whether or not the medical emergency that may have caused the crash also caused the man’s death.
The two cars involved in the crash were a black Kia sedan and a grey Volkswagen SUV. Information about any other people injured in the crash was not available.
